Sclerotherapy (Spider Veins Removal) New Jersey
Sclerotherapy is the injecting of a sclerosing agent (irritant) into unwanted veins to reduce or eliminate their appearance. Over a series of visits, significant reduction is reasonable. It is performed with either hypertonic saline (salt water) or glycerin. After consultation and discussion of patient goals, the procedure is performed in the office. Patients may experience some discomfort during and after the treatments. There can be temporary bruising afterwards and even some darkening of the areas treated. That may take longer to resolve.
